About Making Sense
Making Sense is a space for reflective writing on creativity, work, and meaning.
I write to understand how ideas take shape, how creative work unfolds over time, how clarity emerges from uncertainty, and how inner life and professional practice constantly inform each other.
My work as an illustrator, graphic recorder, and art educator involves translating complexity into something more accessible — visually and conceptually. This publication is an extension of that practice, using words instead of images to think slowly and deliberately.
Here you’ll find essays on:
creative process and visual thinking
sustaining a creative practice over time
work beyond productivity and output
making sense of change, doubt, and direction
There is no fixed publishing schedule. I write when there’s something worth articulating, not to keep up, but to make sense.
